Peer Mentor
3-4 hours/week
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to newcomers navigating their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly mentoring sessions
- Share lived experiences
- Connect mentees to resources
- Attend monthly training
Event Coordinator
4-6 hours/week
Plan and execute community events, social gatherings, and cultural celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize community events
- Coordinate logistics
- Manage vendors and supplies
- Oversee event registration
Resource Ambassador
2-3 hours/week
Help connect community members with resources and services they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain resource database
- Conduct resource workshops
- Follow up with referrals
- Build community partnerships
Social Media Ally
2-4 hours/week
Share our story and amplify community voices through digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content
- Manage social media accounts
- Document events and stories
- Engage with online community
Training & Support
Comprehensive Training
Complete orientation program covering LGBTQ+ cultural competency, trauma-informed care, and role-specific skills.
Ongoing Support
Regular check-ins, peer support groups, and access to supervision from experienced staff members.
Flexible Scheduling
Work with our team to create a volunteer schedule that fits your lifestyle and commitments.
Application includes background check and reference requirements
